This annual golf tournament is held every June to honor our son, Keith McFadden, and to raise money for brain cancer research by partnering with Head for the Cure Foundation. Keith was an avid sports fan and a K-State graduate. He was diagnosed with brain cancer when he was 24 and living in Dallas. After two surgeries in Dallas, Keith moved back to Kansas City to be close to family. He had two more surgeries, chemotherapy, radiation, and went through medical trials at M. D. Anderson in Houston, Texas.
Keith fought for 4 1/2 years before he died in June 2007. This golf tournament is a lot like Keith's life. Full of fun, not too serious, lots of jokes and laughter, but most of all full of love of friends and family.
Come join us and see for yourself!
